Known as the idle Speed Control Motor, or the Idle Air Control Valve, this type of Mitsubishi & Hyundai ISCs are driven by copper wound coils.
These ISCs are prone to failure, causing a variety of idle symptoms, and head aches for you. Idle Surge, the annoying idle oscilation, very low idle, or sometimes very high idle, are a few of the common symptoms of this part going bad.
The idle speed control motor is very important to the daily driver, it compensates the idle up when the engine has an extra load on it, such as when the power steering is used, when using the air conditioner, or upon cold start.
We use a custom molded, resin composite spindle sleve, and a higher quality replacement coil in the rebuilding of our Mitsubishi ISCs, the ohms rating is slightly above or the same, but the life expectency is far greater than that of the factory coil.
Brand new replacement parts are used in remanufacturing our Mitsubishi Idle Speed Control Motors or Idle Air Control Motors.
