We guarantee our product to be free from defect, and to perform up to or above factory specifications for the 18 months following the purchase date.
If you have paid the additional $39. to upgrade to 5 year warranty, or if you have a Hyundai Tiburon BCM, all the same applies for 5 years from purchase date.
Damaged caused by other faulty parts of the vehicle, such as the ISC shorting out the ECM, transmission solenoid shorting theTCM, or any human error such as but not limited to - hooking the battery up backwards are not under warranty. If this happens we may still be able to restore funtion again, but we would need to see it before we can tell you that or otherwise.
If you have trouble with a part under warranty please give us a call to notify us,
and we will assist you as best we can.
You will need to return the part to us for inspection and diagnosis.
We have to have the part here in our hands to find any problems.
We do not gaurantee that a replacement or repair will solve all
your vehicles problems, misdiagnosis is very common.
We can only promise a good working part, specific by part #, as you ordered.
We are not liable for return shipping cost, however if we find that we are at fault,
we will likely offer some shipping cost compensation at our discretion.
All sales are final, no refunds, only exchange at our discretion.
If you have ordered the wrong part # by accident, we can often work out the exchange for the proper part #, provided we have it in stock, and cost may vary depending on the particular part numbers in question.
Re-flashing, or re-programing, is the liability of the purchaser. Most of the units we sell, do not need to be "re flashed", they are plug in and go. In fact most of them are not even capable of being reprogramed, they have no re-writeable memory.
In the late '90s, many asian made vehicles came outfitted with "factory security" and there is a part called the imobilizer or anti theft unit.
This part has to be re programed or replaced in many cases to allow
the vehicle to start with the replacement ECM.
It is not something we can take care of for you before shipping you an ECM,
you would have to address that when you install it in the vehicle.
